Ahead by Bett - Andrew Taylor

Andrew is an experienced AV consultant who has been developing and delivering AV and IT solutions into higher education for over 15 years. Whilst working for the University of Northampton he led the design of the multimillion-pound Waterside campus build, which won Education Project of the Year at the 2019 AV Awards. He has since joined Kinly as a digital change consultant to help develop robust higher education solutions fit for the future.

Kinly and its client, Staffordshire University, explain how they overcame these hurdles together as partners, and together make sure Staffordshire is becoming: The University of the Future. We will do this by: Looking at how we can help to connect all stakeholders; educational specialists, IT directors, AV specialists, teachers and students in forming their demand in terms of digital learning strategy and vision? Discussing how can we unburden stakeholders not just in terms of technical solutions, but on all aspects of the learning transformation: digital content strategies, blended learning, hybrid learning, educational consulting, are subjects that need to be addressed and understood and require a different mindset. Examining how we can bridge the gap between institutions and their many technology partners. One contact, one contract partner to assist them in making sense of the spaghetti of solutions and vendors, as well as help them reach the next step in student/teacher effectiveness, satisfaction and overall digital transformation.
