The LSBU Network Modernisation Project: Students as the new Network Edge
In collaboration with Extreme Networks
London South Bank University have partnered with Extreme Networks to reinvent their network and create a digital strategy based on student outcomes and positive student engagement. Recent NSS scores have highlighted the need to modernise and deliver a truly personalised experienced for today’s student. The new network has been designed to leverage unlimited data to help drive present and future design innovation; which in turn will grow and support student interaction and retention. The new network will provide the students with a simple to use digital relationship with the University to ensure that they can fully engage with their course, their campus, and their peers. This review of digital strategy has also led to some operational efficiencies; for example improved security and more creativity for their workforce.
