Matthew Castle

Matthew is the Head of Application Platforms in central IT Services for the University of Oxford.  He has a variety of responsibilities on several platforms that support the organisation.  This includes software development and customisations of the core Alumni and VLE platforms.  Service Owner for the organisation’s central web publishing platform hosting over 700 websites. Management and governance of Azure and Power Platform to support business applications as well core data integrations based on a combination of BizTalk, SSIS and Azure.  Matthew comes from a software development background across several verticals including marketing, ecommerce and financial services and is passionate about helping teams adopt lean and agile methodologies and modern engineering practices.
