Nicola Nestor

Deputy Director of Finance University of Portsmouth

Nicola joined the University of Portsmouth in February 2022 as their Deputy Director of Finance and has led multiple Finance functions and highly successful teams, across various industries during her career.

She is Lean Six Sigma qualified, leading on various and often challenging, operational transformation programmes, savings businesses significant sums of money.  Leading many projects in a spectrum of roles, Nicola has been a project manager, a sponsor and formed part of a board and steering group, creating and becoming the Chair of Portsmouth Water Women’s Network “Elevate.”

She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
